BMW e46 auto transmission
I've got a BMW e46 323i 1999 and 18 mths ago had a recon auto transmission and torque converter fitted. 2 weeks ago took it to the BMW shop to fix the ABS and the MRS since then I have had an error thrown up P0740 Converter lockup clutch excessive slip, can changing the ABS/ASC module have had any effect, or is this just bad luck.

ABS and ASC are 100% unrelated to the 0740 code.
