Sony (old one) AM/FM/CASS unit makes beep sound when I adjust volume
I have an older unit and just replaced battery-all settings lost. How do I make unit stop beeping sound when adjusting volume?
Someone here helped me here before, but I forget what keys to press. (don't have a manual)
Any ideas?

Try holding the SEL button and the #6 button to toggle that feature.
