Elec. Issue
01' 740il
Store says Battery and Alt. Good... Battery Drains after 30 min. of rest. Charged battery removed all fused and put back one by one looking to narrow issue down to one circuit. Found nothing! Volts still read 12.64 after fuses back in , turn key car will not start and volts immediately drop to 10.52! Meter was connected entire time. I'm dumbfounded. F.Y.I Because of you guys i was able to diagnose and fix fluctuating temp. issue. You guys are awesome... |

Battery might be holding volts but no amps. Did they do a load test on the batt or just put volt meter on it?

That was my conclusion. Went ahead and replaced battery and what i thought was a drain is now gone. Four days of looking and it was that simple. Duh!!! Thanks for the help.
