Iphone 5 Lightning to 30-pin Adapter (0.2 m)

I just got the Lightning to 30-pin Adapter (0.2 m) and tried to attach it to my cradle. Everything works except video . Any suggestions?

Isn't the phone too large/tall, though?

Neither the iPhone 5 or the adapter output analog video. The adapter is useless in the cradle.

I'm assuming he didn't actually cradle the phone and just used the wire to connect from cradle to iPhone.

I have the lightning to 30-pin adapter (with 0.2 meter cable). But the adapter keeps popping out of the cradle connector due to its spring loading. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Yes. Return it. Its crap, won't display video.

That's not the point. I don't care about video. I would just like it to stay connected without popping out. How did you secure it in place?
