Welcome fellow Tennessean, nice looking ride man. Not so sure about those tail lights though. I'd look for some hellas or depot (what I have on my car),they give it more of a oem look instead of cheap aftermarket.

Just some constructive criticism....

Thanks for the compliments. Ill keep an eye out for some tail lights, think i saw some on cl.
The car runs and drives preety good, flushed the cooling system and topped off the tranny fluid. Going to change oil and plugs this weekend.
When i bought the car the one big question mark was that when put in reverse there is a very loud vibration. Only in reverse. Any thoughts anyone? It shifts great so hopefully no big issues.
If I could get one more piece of input that would be great, I paid 1200 for it and I think I scored, what do you guys think? Ill post pics of the interior soon. Thank you!

Nice looking BMW. I like stock the Amber tails and orange running lights.I would get the best tires you can find Michelin or Goodyear. I would get front shocks. and euro smiley HID projector headlights for a great 350- 400 dollar upgrade. anything you can think off with your car just use the search engine here then interact with others .It s a sweet site.

Bargain ride!! I'm no fan of white lenses and amber globes. I prefer old school. Don't forget a good brake overhaul B4 you begin to 'test the limits'. Could be the best $ you ever spend.

I love the red color, is it Calypso?

Unfortunately most major trans problems start out as an issue with reverse. Probably not much you can do but wait for it to fail, which it likely will with those miles on it.

Still a great buy, just start a manual trans conversion fund
