Iphone 5 - No sounds from the phone once in the car??
At first i thought my iphone 5 was busted but now realize that whenever the phone is paired with my 2013 F10, my phone will not make any sounds if i have a incoming text message or the lock sounds.
Is this a setting somewhere? I don't care for the lock sound but i do rather my phone ring when i have a incoming text message. Alan

Does anyone notice worse call quality with the iPhone 5? Ever since I got it, people say they can barely hear me at all...
P.S. No issues with missing sounds, but I have no combox so I don't have any of that fancy **** above.

You should hear the sounds (alerts, keypress, etc) on the car's speaker when BT paired.

Disable "Audio" within iDrive for the iPhone. [Settings -> Connections -> Bluetooth -> Select Phone -> Option -> Configure Phone -> Uncheck use for Audio]
When enabled, it routes all audio from the iPhone to the car. If you're not streaming music or actively in a call, you'll miss notifications.
