LED turn signal on F30

Hey guys
Did anyone noticed that new 3series is missing LED turn signals(blinkers), outgoing model had both front and back in LED, but new 3 series carries just one bulb. I asked dealer and they had no answers. He said my comments will be passed on to headoffice.
In 2013 when every manufacturer is (KIA/Hyundai) are bringing LED, why would BMW shy away?
We may see LED blinkers in 3 years when current 3 series gets face lift - may be that's the reason BMW left for future face lift, not a good idea. IMO it will add to the great looks of current 3 series.

I think you answered your own question. BMW will use the upgrade in a few years to entice new buyers. Early buyers lose out. Like you, I don't care for this marketing strategy.

It definitely seems like a step backwards from my E90 LCI (2011).

Yeah it's weird, my 2010 328i E90 had the LED turn signals, but then they took it off on my 2013. I liked the LED's also

Hell, it's a step backwards from my 2006 E46 M3.

That's not a BMW part number. BMW part numbers are either seven or eleven characters.

I got that part # off of the suggested Sylvania link.
My bad on that.
Please lead me in the right direction to get led turn signal for my f30.
I was thinking about getting the silver bulb that blinks amber for turn signaling but I realize that when the lights are on low beam (my f30 doesn't have xenon ), the turn signal is constantly on so it would show the amber color that I only want to show when I signal.

Thanks for any help.

www.e92-lighting.com , www.jlevisw.com are two places to look. The amber parking lamp illuminated with the headlights is a U.S. DOT requirement. They are lit even if on cars that have xenons. An LED turn signal bulb will also be lit in amber when the headlights are on.

I would rather have the turn signal be clear with orange bulb or have amber glass. I hate the ALL RED tail light. I wonder why BMW changed to that on all models. I had my 2003 325xi with amber turn signal light.

LED lights?

Does a 2013 335is have led brake and/or night driving rear lights? I can't tell by looking through the plastic light housing? In other words, are the amber lights the only traditional bulb lights on the exterior?

One of the reasons I will wait till LCI F30 is out before considering it. I am not playing these marketing games, I like my LED stop lights.

I just saw a Kia Rio today with full LED turn signals and I am sure they will look great on F30 as well, BMW will bring them back with facelift in 2015, but shame all 3 and 4 series will be missing until then. Whatever reason might be it is bad strategy to leave something so contemporary for future improvement in sport/luxury vehicle, hope BMW is listening.
