My 5 Fuse blooooows !!!!!!!! Help !!!!

Hello!!!

#5 fuse keeps blowing


Dashbord light is out
Front parking light is out
Rear parking light is out


Now I am going to blow my brains out !!!


I have replaced all the bulbs in the dash cluster (cluster works) front right and back right.

Directionals work parking lights dont.

I replaced the headlight switch and dimmer switch on the left side of the dash.

What Gives ?

electrical problems are pretty hard to diagnose over the net , I would suggest back tracking your work , a wire has got to be pinched when you where in the process of putting it back together . Unless you had that problem before you worked on it .

Possiable your wattage has increased ,reversed connection at a lamp,possible damaged socket would do it too.

Start a careful examination of ALL the parts you touched.

This might be silly but just in case, are you using a fuse of the correct rating for #5 ?

If its not any of the above then you need to see if you have the correct bulb in the front indicator.

If it is a single contact bulb it will short the two contacts in the socket and blow the fuse like you say.
