DS1s on a Z3

Has anyone ever seen DS1s (black) on a Z3? I would love to see what it looks like.

I've seen DS2 but not DS1s.

I had my DS1's on my friend's 96 Z3 once. They looked great! (no pics though)

Yeah, I would love to see them. I'm thinking about getting some black ones but having problems pulling the trigger.

Remember, there's no detail shown in black rims. DS1/DS2 should remain silver since there's details in there (especially DS1s - I'd get the ones with the word stamping).

Agreed.

I suppose it's a matter of preference, but I have always liked black wheels. Ever since the early eighties when I built up a Mongoose with black Skyway mags and blue snake belly tires. I was the coolest kid on the block for a week. The damn thing got stolen the week after I finished building it (took me two years because I had to save up for the Skyways). On second thought...

I think I choose the look of the black wheel over the detail. I've seen pictures of black wheels on Z3s and I have to say that, to me, they look pretty damn good.

Ok then I suppose I like Ghetto. The rims in the picture look like the steelies the cops drive around in (might be the grainy picture). I would probably go with a glossier finish. Like the ones on IgotBMW's profile pic.

yeah they are steelies. I had them on for a month 2 winters ago.

Thats funny. I didn't want to say they looked like bung, but I guess you know that if they where only on a month. If you squint your eyes and imagine a nicer wheel...
