I remember the good old days when cars had nice chrome bumpers, not painted surfaces. Back then, parking that way didn't hurt the other cars. In college, more than once I put my car into a spot smaller than the car. Simple rule is, if you live in an urban area and have to parallel park on the street, don't expect your bumpers not to be scuffed. To get upset about it is pointless.

so Mrs wyb ran into the store and he's parked in these 2 spots - I know she's grabbing one item and paying at cust.service and coming right out, so I don't park, but drive around slowly - this is actually a parking spot I prefer if I'm shopping at this store, as there is a wide spot here, with a huge margin that is cross-hatched off to the left of this truck (out of shot), so I saw this truck immediately - snapped the photo on the phone and drove round the car-park,... out they come.. Mr Dickhead Parker on the cellphone - talking VERY loudly - Mrs D.Parker chatting up the guy who helps you out to the car with your bags - cmon - two able bodied people and you get "help" with your groceries - and I mean 4-5 bags - not a truck-full...

Our parking lot at the store is crowded enough, and then this douche comes along. Sorry the license plate got washed out, I wanted a more public shaming.

Found another one ... When the town did away with diagonal parking they deliberately made the spaces big enough to accommodate a full sized pickup truck and they aren't big enough for some local aholes it seems.

Instead of walking the last 25 feet to a parking spot, this douche left it in the driveway forcing delivery trucks to back down a narrow, one way drive.

This douche just left their car sitting in the middle of the lot so no one could get past it. What a selfish, arrogant pr$ck. They're an employee of POE Yoga. Yeah, Peace On Earth and stay the hell out of our parking lot.

you forgot the ending to that story right? When the owner came out of yoga feeling peaceful and at one with the earth she found her car horribly keyed and her windows smashed right....right.....right?

That one actually looks like they didnt put it in park and it rolled. Im just guessing, but the way the front wheels are turned it looks like they were in a space, then is rolled back a bit.. I mean, there is a spot right in front of their car.

lol. This is around the corner from my building. I heard two loud BOOM .... BOOM.. But I listen and it didn't sound like a car crash. Sounded more like a flatbed trailer with a heavy load jumping heavily over a bump on the road.

Then later on I went out, and I saw this. But nobody that was still around knew what had happened. What I think happened is that somebody side crashed the red minivan. Look at the damage to the side, and the missing trimming and the scratches on his doors. So maybe somebody pushed him to the parking lane somehow.

Later on my way back I saw the owner of the blue car. I emailed him these pictures. Nice man. The police came back to talk to him and tell him what had happened. His first question: Is the driver OK? Really. That was the first question that he had asked. Nice man, mid 50s to 60s or something like that.

The blue car is a total loss, isn't it?

yep - blue one is done. The people carrier up front might be as well if it damaged much apart from the tail-gate - coz it looks to be older and they don't hold value once they up in years

He was there for the tow truck getting in and out of his car. The police patrol car was there too. My guess he would be arrested if he was suspected to be drunk?

This is some 30' from the intersection (behind him). Possible that someone was doing a left turn into him maybe. We had a few similar crashes like that in the past. A few casualties a few years ago.

He has scratches on his driver side door panels, and his front fender is pushed in from the side. It doesn't look like it's the result of the front crash but something else.

It might have been something like this:
He's driving strait. The car coming from the opposite direction is trying to make a left turn and gets into his lane driving in. He has to swerve to his left to avoid it, but hits the corner of the car. Losing control and going strait into the parked car right in front of him, since he switched lanes to avoid a full head on collision with the turning car.
