F10 could that be remotestart?

i'm in the process of scanning all options in every ECU, and found the following:

FZD - 3002DWA, 06 - Motorfernstart

this means remote start. as a prerequisite you definately need DWA - which means car alarm.
so maybe someone with DWA can dig into that ...

it's not just try. as i read in a bmw7 (those have that feature for sure) forum there you have to do some hardware mods. you need to install a cable so pressing the button on your remote really does something.

yes. that's correct. but could be a legal workaround. call them "sicherheitsfahrzeug" and they may be not added to the carbon footprint calculation - which is the main cause why german companies don't support such feature.

the cable is used to trigger the start button. a cable coming from the power doors ecu, going to the start button.

Does anyone know exactly which hardware modifications should be made to remote start on f10 ?
I'm ready to try to do it.
