2004 X5 Bluetooth Please Help !!!
Hi,
I am very new to this and I need someone's help if possible. I just got a '04 x5 with lots of options including NAV and it seems to have bloototh also. I look on top the CD changer/NAV rack and I can see the bluetooth antena and also next to spare I can see the bluetooth interface. It seem to be ULF. What I don't have is the pairing button on the center console. There is only a telephone support where you can insert a specific cell (possible for nokia) and the eject button to take it out. There is no way I can get see my bluetooth when I scan woth my phone. Also I was able to extract the bluetooth pairing code using toolset32. Thanks, |

I just paired my iPhone4 with my '05 X5 with no issues this morning after going to the trunk to get my passkey. While researching my bluetooth pairing issues I did read where not all '04's actually have the bluetooth function, but if you have a pairing code, I assume your production date is one of the lucky ones. Anyway, the only advice I can give is to try having your phone already searching for bluetooth devices before you put the car in pos 1 or pos 2. When I did this, my phone found the BMW right away and I just had to enter the passkey. My X5 doesn't have a pairing button either. I seem to also recall the X5's only search for bluetooth devices within the first minute or two of cutting the car on. Hope this helps...
