Jen, if this has been getting continuously worse since the wreck, go back to your doctor and press to get an MRI done on your upper spine and neck area. What you are describing is fairly typical whiplash symptoms. This type of soft tissue injury rarely shows on X-rays and you might need some immobilization (soft or stiff collar) for a couple of weeks to give a chance for some healing, then comes the PT. Hope you get some relief soon!

God I loved my M5...

Hop on M5board and start reading! The cooling system overhauls can get pretty pricey, and if you have smog where you live the carbon buildup could become an issue..

What are your thoughts on a well looked after 1995 325I sedan. 191k Owned by a older couple, in great shape. Only problem is its auto. I know 24v motors well, nothing about E36 auto's any good? whole car is amazing clean.

I'm screwed...went to concert last night and a guy was being an asshole...he went to hit a girl so I grabbed him and body slammed him on the floor, ll I slipped on beer and dislocated my knee cap. So much pain right now.

The auto transmissions are made by GM and tend to go bad pretty easily. Although I thought mine was pretty good for an auto. Not too many unnecessary shifts, hard downshifts, etc.

The manual transmissions are much better, though. You can get a whole used swap kit for around $500, and they're not too difficult to swap if you're mechanically inclined.

Soooooo my brother managed to bend the rack and pinion on the g35... I loaned him 6k so we can buy the car, he was supposed to pay me back... He's driven the car everyday since I bought, I even registered, snogged and insured the vehicle for him...

Now that its damaged, he wants to give me back the car and say that he doesn't have to pay me back, idk what to do... He's my brother I don't want to take his money by force and its like 2k to fix it too

Sorry to hear Brad.

That's a very difficult situation, but I don't think it's good to accept that. He may be your brother but it's not right to let him run over you, and it sets a bad precedent for the future.

I wouldn't jump to legal action yet, but see if there's someone you mutually respect like a strong mentor that could be a mediator and have a conversation with both of you at the same time.
