2009 750li - Is remote start available?

I have looked around here some and have seen a few posts about remote start. So, I am thinking of purchasing a 2009 750li and being able to add remote start is a huge plus to me. Is this possible or no? Thanks

Not possible

Negative. Unless you get some aftermarket extra remote that'll probably screw-up your computer. Don't bother, not worth the risk or trouble.

BMW security system does not permit the vehicle to start without the presence of a properly coded key.
Makes the car very difficult to steal, but also makes remote start impossible.

There are people who will try to eliminate the key problem by hiding a key in the car. However, no responsible installer will put any remote start on a recent-generation BMW because of the design of onboard electronics and networking.

The car won't be able to lock with a remote hidden in the car
