Buiness Car lease help..

although this is for honda looking for some help..

So i got my corp approved for a car lease, with out signing for it.
here is what i have

Honda is approving at standard lease rate not the better. rate
they tell me to get a lower payment they have to raise the price of the car
then buy down the lease rate.So now I'm left with thinking did honda approve
the better rate and they are doing this to get a extra grand out of me?
anyone know how this stuff works?

Honda's approval

$34,650.00
0.00155
.50 residual
1,000.00 cash down
560.29 payment

35750.00
0.00048
.50 residual
1,000.00 cash down
530.11 payment

the original deal was 495 a month but I have to guarantee it for that.
I want to keep the car of my personal credit.

This is a BMW forum, so probably not going to get much help on Honda lease.

well really has nothing to do with type of car, just want to know if what I'm asking seems legit or is it a way of getting a extra 1k out of me.

That extra K is getting you a lower monthly payment... so unless it's still over your budget you should be ok. Maybe I am not good negotiating, but in my experience Honda never does the lower MF with discounted price. It's usually one or the other.

And yes, it looks weird to see a Honda related question in here...
