Hi Everyone:

I work for JM&A (Fidelity Warranty Services) and can tell you that the company does pride itself on Customer Service. All inclusions and exclusions are to be explained at time of purchase. If you ever have any issues or are being bounced around from person to person, feel free to let me know, and I will help get your issue taken care of.

Fidelity Warranty Services is a RIP OFF!

Fidelity Warranty Services is a RIP OFF!!! For obvious needed repairs, the company refuses to send an inspector out to witness the car overheating and cutting off. They said that seeing this happen along with diagnostic reports and tests from several mechanics for parts covered under my warranty aren't enough. The lights verified by the diagnostic report and the car cutting off in the middle of it being driven aren't enough and if it was, again they are not willing to send an inspector out to see. THEY are a total rip-off. The mechanics have all given me the same repor in that since the dealership is closed where I purchased is closed that I've basically gave them over 3,000 for a platinum warranty that they will not honor. I'm not sure if they are in a financial crisis, but I really hope this company falls to pieces and is uprooted, bought out, goes bankrupt or something. It is a shame. But, I wouldn't even go as far as to purchase another vehicle from any dealership that is selling a warranty from them. PLEASE do NOT make the same mistake that I did. Listen to all the complaints on here and DO not waste your money and get ripped off as well. Thank you. I hope this report was helpful.

I got hosed on a Warranty Gold product years ago. Luckily I put the cost of my credit card and was making monthly payments. I was able to stop payments and then joined a class action law suit. Ended up recovering almost all of my investment. You might check with AAA. I bought a warranty from them on a 740iL and it did end up paying for itself about 4 times over. I don't remember which insurance company underwrites it but they did pay and I had all the work done at a BMW dealer. The extended warranty business is frought with a lot of shysters. Be careful.

I'm not understanding where the Customer Service is in the company. I have an electrical issue with my car and they are looking for a physical issue. The inspector needs to get in the car and not check for unrelated issues. According to three separate mechanics, one at the dealership, this company is just scamming me. I've reviewed the codes, and have been walked through the diagnostics. I've had my car cut off while driving it and the warning light constantly goes on and off. I'm not understanding why they are looking for a physical crack for a well-known and previously diagnosed and documented issue. So, basically they are claiming that they will NOT be covering, although they are not denying the claim. They are just closing it and have been refusing to verify that they will send an inspector again. My mechanics have basically told me that I've been ripped off, as with the hundreds of other consumers that have posted reports and similar interactions. It is hard to swallow losing my money. I hope that someone is willing to send an inspector and stop giving me the run around. I'm currently pursuing a legal course of action. At minimum, if the company is not going to neither confirm or deny my claim -- the least they could do is refund my money.

A common theme with complaints about warranty companies is that people often times do not have the skill or mindset to properly engage and battle with them.

Most people TALK ON THE PHONE. They refer to events, how they feel, how upset they are, all issues unrelated or tangential to the matter at hand:

1. WHat is the fault? How has this been PROVEN?
2. Pursuant to the Policy, should the fault be covered? Why?
3. Pursuant to the policy what must the owner do in order to present this claim to the company? Was this done? Proof?

I truly believe that these scumbags will pick 'victims' based on claims and how people react... owners that have a very powerful written and verbal style, who can pin their ears back with facts and documents, will prevail. Once they find someone who cannot fight back, they know they have won.

Asking for 'money back' is not worth your breath. Demanding another inspector is also a waste of time. Proof, writing, logic, policy terms, etc....
