visibility from drivers seat for someone 5'9
I sat in the car in the showroom for a good 20 minutes and I felt like no matter how high I moved up the seat I couldn't get a good view of what's directly in front of the car. The combo of the raised hood and me being 5'9 created a zone directly in front of the car I couldn't see.
For those of you that own the X-1, do you notice this? Is this an issue in real world driving conditions? Last edited by X1-tahoe; 10-31-2012 at 10:29 PM. |

Uh...if you can't see in front, that would pose a dangerous real world driving condition.

why don't you take a test drive and see for your self?
I am about your height and can see fine. But you, and only you, should be the judge in this case.

You'll never see the zone directly in front of a car, no matter what you drive, but that's what parking sensors are for
