Vehicle Check Service Appt

I have a service due on that is on the I drive ( Vehicle Check Appt ) I have approx 25k, has anyone else had this done, is this just a profit making situation for the dealership such as stating I need alignment , tires, etc ? I also assume this is a required service since it is on the CBMS.

There is a user-settable service setting that isnt driven by BMW nor the vehicle conditon. If this was set, you may be seeing this. In any event, 'required' serice is free- while this may be your dealer 'offering' and optional service at additional cost "to keep your investment in tip top shape" it cannot be mandatory if there is a charge.

Agreed, under 50K and under 4 years isn't EVERYTHING included...for free on these vehicle these days? if it's FREE then there's no question... let them do it.
