Our 2013 X3 35i - ipod question
So we took delivery of our X3 this past weekend as it magically arrived at the dealer about 2 weeks ahead of schedule...and it's a beautiful machine!!
Question...when connecting an ipod nano via the USB port when trying to play podcasts we have to go through this convoluted menu process to find them in the genre section and then playback is a bit funky in that you don't get the normal ipod menu's. The podcasts are not categorized but rather all just lumped in one big folder. Does anyone have any suggestions for an easier/better way of accessing podcasts? Thanks, John |

What about putting them in a playlist?
I'm pretty sure my playlists show up seperately. I'll double check it next time I'm in the car. |

When using any IPod other than the Touch you will need to use a BMW Y cable. They don't provide them but you can get from the Dealer ($80) or better yet off E-Bay for $26. If you have a Touch you can just use the Apple USB Cable.

I prefer to find the playlist, podcast, etc using the iPhone (ipod) itself, much easier than using the bmw menus if you can plan ahead or do it at a stop light.
