Don't cut corners

So I replaced/ cleaned most of the external components of my motor a few weeks ago pulleys, ccv, waterpump, all new cooling lines, you name it. I thought for some reason the expansion tank would be fine. I mean there is no reason for it to just caput right? Haha well not listening to you guys bit me in the rear last night. Long story short baought a new one and popped it in before work.

Nice story! Can't fathom, however, how you rationalized to omit it in the first place?

I am wondering about the same, mawana...As far as I am concerned, one needs to replace water pump and exp. tank after 80k, everything else should be done too, but can wait (hoses, etc)...Exp. tanks are well known tp be prone to developing cracks.
