How to lock in rebates?

I ordered a 335 that went into production 11/2 in SA. Looks like it wont make the ship that leaves tomorrow since the 800 number says that the car will be completed by 11/13 and the next ship isnt until 12/16. My CA said I could not lock in rebates and if it doesnt arrive by the end of the year i'm out the USAA, recent graduate, and year end rebates.....but it seems on here people are saying they are good for 3 months past the expiration...so how exactly do I lock these in?

You can lock you rates by applying directly to BMWFS online through the link on www.BMWUSA.com.
If your dealer doesn't want to cooperate, you'd better find a new dealer.

so i just applied on bmwusa.com...it says i have to take delivery in 60 days...so if i know it wont be here by jan 6 i need to reapply in december?

I believe it says 60 days from when the promo ends.
