High Performance Ingnition Coils
What's everyone's thought on the Bavauto High Performance Ignition Coils? Waste of money or necessary upgrade?

Waste of money. If Bosch/Bremi/BMW could increase their performance, CAFE ratings and fuel economy with a simple hardware edit, they probably would have already. As one poster put it to bavauto, dyno or it didn't happen.

Waste of money. One of my customers bought them, and after I installed them there was no noticeable difference. He even had two of them go bad.

That's what I figured. So when changing spark plugs, would you also change the boots, the boots and coils, or just the plugs?

Many say the boots are worn out by the time you need new plugs. They dry up and crumble.

Garbage...If you are using the 3 Triangle Pin Bosch Coil Packs. They are good up to 800 or so WHP without using any type of plasma lift to boost the spark efficiency.
