2011 335i Msport XDrive Wheel clearance?
Hey Guys and Gals,
Anyone have experience with 17" wheels on a 335 M-Sport/X Drive that came equipped with 18's I'm fine with the offset, not certain if a 17" wheel will clear caliper and rotor? ![]() Looking to put style 159's on for winter. Any help much appreciated.

The Sport/M Sport package does not change the brakes, nor does xDrive. What does change them is 328/335. Any OEM 17" wheel style offered on any 335i/xi configuration should fit. If Style 159 is a 17" style that was only available from the factory on a 328i/xi, there may be interference.
(Style 161 works

The wheel well size does not change, only the brakes are different. (328/335) 335 has slightly larger brakes but I believe 17" will still fit. You will have a larger and uglier wheel gap though.

x drive should be fine in snow with the 18s.

Not on the summer-compound tires fitted to the OEM 18" setup....

I have the 18" performance tires on my car and have had no problems running them in the weather. Just like snow tires, you just have to drive carefully.
