my Alpina is out at sea in the storm

ouch, I have been tracking my new B7, and it is on the ship AIDA out at sea somwhere off the tip of Long Island. It was scheduled to arrive in NJ today (via Halifax) but it seems to be hanging out at sea (riding out the storm?). Has anyone ever experienced any issues with a new car getting damaged while being transported on the ship from Bremerhaven?

I wouldn't stress, any damage will be covered by your dealer and cars do get damaged during shipment and transport. Usually just minor stuff that buffs out.

Unlikely, but...
Any damage would be repaired at the Regional Distribution Center.
Neither you, nor your dealer for that matter, would have any knowledge of it.
So no point in sweating it.
