DINAN 15% off!!!!

Dinan is having a sale, 15% off almost everything. This includes performance software. The sale ends october 31. Im going to get the stage 2 for the X5. This is the time to buy if you want to do upgrades. I dont know how often these sales come along. Pass the word!

Yep, I did the stage 2. In first and second gear this thing is very fast. I love the power.

I am scheduled to get Stage2 on Saturday morning. I can't wait. Anyone have any experience with Circle BMW in NJ? They are doing the flash.

Do you have stage 1 now or are you going from stock to stage 2? Let me know what you think about the stage 2. I love it. How long have you had ur X5?

I have my X5 for just over a year. I do not have stage one. I figured go straight to stage tow. I am sure I will like it.

Kar Don,
Try Renntech, they are a great tuning house. They have a tune for the diesel. They claim 345hp and 480TQ. The price is reasonable also.

I'm surprised dinan doesn't do this more often off their already largely inflated prices. Maybe I'm just bitter I can't afford

It's like anything, if you want it, you will find a way to afford it. I see Dinan as a company that sells you a tune with an expensive Dinan warranty. Since I have 3 years of warranty left, I feel better that I am getting it installed at a Circle BMW. Based on my experience, I may start to get my service done at Circle BMW. Hopefully preventing any "the tune caused the failure" silliness.

So your going from 400 hp to 501 hp!! Man ur gonna love it. I wish I could be there to see the big grin on your face when you drive it for the first time. The stage 1 or stage 2 totally transforms the truck into a beast, and the sound is amazing. I haven’t even WOT (Wide Open Throttle) my truck and the power is more than enough. When im accelerating hard from about 15 mph, the traction control light blinks a couple of times. Now you can tell your friends; “I just bought 101 horses to go with the other 400 I had, come help me get them in the garage!!”

HEY!!! you better report back and let me know how you liked the tune.

I'd love to get one for the X5, but I convinced myself that I didn't need one for a SUV and that I can't fully utilize all of that power in stupid NYC traffic...
If I had a 335.... different story

I live in Brooklyn and drive to the city 2-3 days a week. Having too much power is like having too much money. There comes a point when you have too much. I have just never reached that level yet.

I am waiting for the new body style of the Mercedes S class to come out. Then I will buy a 2007 or 08 S65 as my "family" car.

I clearly have a horsepower problem.

Got the tune done today. I am happy with it so far. I need to get my buddy out with his C6 Corvette out to see what changed.

Loaded up stage 2 on my 5.0i as well. It was pretty amazing feeling the pull of the 8th gear from 140 - 160 mph.
