2004 330ci

My BMW is really acting up. Turn on car it idles really rough some lights on the dash turns on while idling bad, like if shutting down black smoke comes out and if I try to give it gas it dies out, starts back up and it cranks for longer than usual, replace the MAF sensor, throttle body, and still the same does it need to be reprogram the ecu???

Have you checked the battery? Same symptoms happened to me recently with a near dead battery. If that isn't the case, you need to pull a couple plugs and see if they've been flooded.

Using the SEARCH function, read up a bit on what happens when your CVV is failing.....that`s one strong possibility, especially if the plugs are oily.

Yes the battery is new And spark plugs are not flooded but they are really black

Plugs are not oily
I'm guessing about the programming the ecu?

Battery is new, spark plugs, starter, engine mounts,

what about fuel filter, air filter and alternator?

Black plugs means they`re being fouled by oil....a "normal" plug color is greyish-tan.

Keep guessing rather than listening to and responding to the advice you already got here from someone who knows years more than you do about e46's when he says to consider the CVV.

OP, ur ECU does not need reprogramming, it has nothing to do with it. if the symptoms u posted are exactly what's happening, check the troubleshooting provided below. and get the car scanned, there might be some codes.
report back when u have further details to go from there
