Bmw e60 aux install video
Hey Guys,
I recently saw a video on youtube () showing how to install an aux cable on our cars. The video went on to state the the author (Brenden) makes aux cables and sell them. Unfortunately the video has no contact info. Do any of you guys, know or have ever dealt with him? I want to install aux, and I don't have a CD player in my glove box. Thanks to all! Lewis

There are a lot of DIY available on this forum with instructions on how to install AUX. You can do it yourself in less than 30 minutes however for it to work car needs to be coded. Its a very minor change. If your car is already showing AUX in the menu then you are good to go.
I did mine , I have a cd changer but AUX has nothing to do with it. CD changer wiring is required if you are installing an ipod interface like dension gateway 500. I know this doesn't answer your question but there are a lot of cables available on Ebay and amazon depending upon your car model or you can make one yourself easily. I also saw this video. Has anyone tried it themselves ??? I would like to know so I can decide. If so is it safe to just plug your iPod like this ???
Gateway 500 looks to difficult due to you have to plug into the fiber optic cables. Last edited by Ricardo_007; 11-09-2012 at 02:17 PM. |
