xdrive35i Premium vs Sport

Premium starts at $55,200 and the Sport starts at $57,700
What accounts for this $2500 difference right off the bat? Engine and all the standard features are the same. Just 20" wheels and sport seats? Is it worth it?

It's interesting that the same Convenience package costs more for the Premium ($3875) than the Sport Activity ($3775)

Sport seats come with the 35i Sport Activity, as do the fender flares and 20" 214s. You also get the anthracite headliner and shadowline trim, the M Sport and M Performance packages can only be ordered with the Sport Activity version as well.

The Conv. Package on the Premium also includes the chrome line trim, which isn't included on the Sport Activity since it already has shadowline trim.

It's the exterior trim around the windows, the chromeline is the chrome trim, the shadowline is the blackish/bluish shiny trim, standard is the normal black plastic trim.

On point! I dislike the chrome line exterior trim though... And I think you get to pick Aluminum interior trim as an option for the Sport.

Are the sport seats kind of like the $1300 contour seat option?

Also, I notice the Premium has "BMW Ambiance lighting" which the standard does not. What is that?

I second that. I had an 11 with sport seats (which I thought were fine and a BIG upgrade from the standard seats) and now have a 12 with multi contour. Get the MC seats - they're one if the best features on the car IMO.

I love the sport seats, but it's all personal preference. If you go premium, I'd definitely get the multicontour, not a fan of the stock seats.
