Big dog got in my way!

The other day early morning while still dark on my way to work I was driving in an area where there was no street light poles and out of no where this dog just gets in my way, not enough time to stop so I hit him. Sounded really loud noise I pull over to check on my front end to see any damage and this was what I found. Picture is from when I got to work. I'll keep updates on the repairs

No fun, hope the dog is okay!

I went back to check on it and it was gone, no where to be found. I dont know if it died or survive

I hit a dead squirrel once.

get some insurance money and buy front and rear m5 bumpers.

looking at the picture, it looks like the damage is minimal

It looks like the hood is probably done.

Is the bumper / kidney grill in tact?

Bumper molding broke off and license plate fell off with the molding. Bumper grill has light cracks not quit noticeable tho but they are there

Had the same story but my damages are more (check pic attached) since then i hated the all animals that can cross a road

H20 dang thats alot of damage hopefully your insurance was able to cover it

I hit a baby deer while driving around the hills near my house to take photos of my car. I slowed enough and avoided it so that I only really bumped it with my right corner of the front bumper. Got out to check and there was no damage at all, deer was motionless and I was too scared to get close. Poor fella picked the wrong time to jump out of the bushes. Did my best to avoid it though.

The insurance covered arround half, still in process to get the remaining. But yes i was surprized with the damage even thought i wasnt going so fast (maybe 60 to 80 km/h)

huh, if a dog or any animal did that to my car i would pull over run back and beat the F*ck out of it

I was on the high way and i couldnt stop instantly but if could and the dog was still alive and would have ran him all over again

I just got my new parts hood, bumper, and grill. My car is now ready for a new look yaay! Cant wait to do the installation

Sometimes we all wish animals would be smarter and not get in the way. But thats the first thing they do is get in the way and sometimes ending up getting kill in the street

The right thing to do, when you hit a dog or cat, is to call the police. Just because you didn't see it where you hit it, doesn't mean it wasn't lying a few feet, or several hundred yards away suffering.

Common sense dude ... jeeze.

Ok i finished with my car. bumper hood grill all new and ready to go here is the before and after. What do you guys think?
