what size should i go with on new tires

I have the same tire size and wanted to change them but EVERY person and tire shop said not to mess with the sizes on bmw's unless u change up the suspension. Ur odometer will not be accurate.

you should try this tire calculator to figure out what would work best for you
http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecal...?action=submit Stock Tire - 225/50R17 Revs per Mile: 804.6 Actual Speed: 60 mph 100 km/h 245/45R17 Revs per Mile: 809.9 Speedometer1: 60.3 mph 100. km/h Speedometer Difference: 0.658% too fast Diameter Difference: 0.66% *not a significant difference basically your speedometer will be telling you that you are going faster than you actually are by less than 1% also your odometer will not be completely accurate, also off by less then 1%; which equals to about 1 mile missing for every 132 miles you drive. hope this was helpful.
