Remember the flight Sully Sullenberger had to put down in the Hudson River? Geese, maybe commuting to BJ's state park.

another update, my F30 will be finishing production on november 20th! went from status 112 to 150 within 15 hours.

running off of generator power (there's a monster 1 MW tractor trailer and two smaller 400KW units parked in front my my apt) but back at home.

funny you mention sully, i was sitting in the departure lounge at heathrow watching them play the video over and over and over as i was waiting for my flight back to NY. thankfully i was flying into jfk and not lga (home of our canada geese). the plane was tied up to the seawall in battery park city a few blocks from where i live.

Very glad to hear that you have power. The F30 delivery schedule is a bonus.

BTW, I think the thread direction is quite normal for the E9X forum but weirdly 'g' oriented (sorry): goats, geese, guns, gays and now generators.

Hey, before you leave, one quick question:

The LED's in my grill won't turn off no matter what I do. Any ideas? I have all the wiring set but no matter what fuse I hook it up to, they won't go off with the rest of the lights. Do I need to get a relay or switch? Or what would be the easiest way to sync them with my headlights?

BJ

i would suggest finding a wall, sturdy construction, and driving straight at it at 20mph. this should turn all your lights out at once without the need for a relay switch.

Of course, technically, you are not affording that either. You are renting a portion of the $50,000 German sport sedan, but the devil is always in the details, is it not.

Hey, you're right, that works!
While I have you, do you know how to get this big white bag back into the steering wheel? It popped out when I was shutting off the lights.

Anyone who finances a $50,000 German sport sedan isn't affording that either; the bank owns your car unless you've paid cash.

The devil is most definitely in the details.

I realize that this is your forum and I'm a guest here, but if you can remove the photo of the old, used car from your sig it would help me digest my dinner a little better.

Thanks.

BJ

What about cleaning up all the residue that was produced from inflating the big white bag? I have heard that until the residue is completely cleaned, the inside of the car is a bit of a hazmat scene?

Technically, your car is an old, used car.

You're getting softer, my friend. Are you giving the guys in the F30 forum hell, though? They probably need a reality check of sorts. Any good memes yet with the F30 pointing out the obvious?
