Since I got my BMW no ricers weave in and out to catch me.

not that I missed it LOL When I had My WRX's They would always endanger me and everyone else on the road just to get to me. It wasn't so bad in the early years of the WRX but as it got older people got worse. Even with My Outback XT ricers would cross 2 lanes just to rev at me.

Today on my drive to work on I87 I got my first one and it was a fellow BMW 335 owner. Looked like on 08 Sedan with black out front end. Not sure who he was trying to impress by going from a steady 80 to 100+ but I have not missed this kind of attention one bit

He probably just wanted to say hi.

It is weird how people have no idea whats under the hood. They thing BMW is very conservative.

The only people typically trying to race me are Volvos that are in the wrong lane.

Ricer attacks were a daily event with my E46 M3 but when I traded for my E92 335i, NOT ONE! Sort of like going from a FA-18 to a 737 I guess. True, my M3 was "tricked out," and the E92 was bone stock (except for the AARP sticker).

I think if one added lots of aero mods to their Bimmer, they could once again attract ricers?

No, my "glue-on, add-on, mod days" are over. There were no "corporate" reasons for me to do it with the E92.

You've probably never heard of the "Advanced Association of Racing Professionals," a local group. "Professionals" is a term taken quite loosely by our tight-knit group, but we have very high standards (did you pass the DMV eye exam?). I've been trying to get them to change the sticker as it is confusing.

Took a long road trip over the past couple weeks to Fl and back to Atlanta.

Heading south on I75, lady in a Roadtrek Diesel (Mercedes Sprinter) class B+ RV steamed past me smartly.

I wasn't exactly hanging about with the hand brake on either.

Must have been late for Bingo.

I have had a number of potential challengers see the 335is & pull up from behind then back off as they got along side.

With luck a fresh JB4 G5 ISO "C" dyno test today,

I've been trying to find some playmates ..... Perhaps a Gen 5 Camaro, already 'dusted' a Challanger. Seems the only ones brave (?) enough are the Corolla S drivers .... but they're not worth my time.
