I don't necessarily believe that the Bridgestone RE050A is that bad; I just believe the Michelin is better.

Since the ZPS is talked about rarely, if at all, I wouldn't consider it over the PS2. If anyone has experience with the ZPS, feel free to chime in, of course.

Just for funsies, I searched on the BMWCCA site (something only a member can do - hint, hint that youse all should join.) The ZPS is not mentioned at all, although others are mentioned ("I have replaced my PS2s on my E92 M3with Yokohama ADVAN Sports...while not as grippy as PS2's they def. wear much much better and are very good tires in wet as well as dry....a bit noisy though.") and other Yokos (AD08, Neova, etc.) Many seem to be popular autox/track tires.

Heh. While I am a CCA member (as everyone should be, I agree), I generally don't see enough traffic on the forums to be useful. So I don't even go to my local chapter forums anymore. I'm a bad person. The other CCA bennies are outstanding, though. At least for the Boston chapter.

There has been some pickup in traffic over the last couple months, after the new format fiasco drove everyone away. Still not much, but the ability to search current and many past Roundel issues is quite nice.

Just following up on my previous post.

I took advantage of a Black Friday $150 off sale at Tires Plus and had four RE960AS RFTs installed.

Both my wife and I could tell they were quieter, and less obnoxious over pavement expansion joints, etc., in comparison to the Turanza's that came with the car.

I also feel they corner a bit better too.

Overall, other than having to spend about a grand on the tires, I'm very satisfied.
