Central Locking Query

Hi All,

Having a problem with my central locking on my 2000 model 323i E46 - I cannot lock/unlock using the key fob or by putting the key in the door lock but can lock/unlock all doors by using the central locking button on console inside car....

Any ideas..?

I have a similar problem. My battery died in my Fob and a cylinder broke in the door lock. If it feels way to easy to turn when the key is in the drivers door it may be a broken lock cylinder. Had to unlock my trunk and crawl through when it first happened lol. I fixed the lock cylinder and that worked for a while, but now when I unlock the car with my key it unlocks all the doors but my drivers door. Not really a complete answer, but maybe some possibilities.
