X1 E84 (2011 - current)
The new to the US BMW X1 will arrive at BMW dealers in the fall of 2012 as a 2013 model year. Get your X1 28i with either sDrive (RWD) or xDrive (AWD) or get the US exclusive I6 N55 powered X1 35i dDrive. |

New to BMW
New to the board and have a few questions. Thinking about trading my GTI for an Sdrive X1. Other than the standard seasonal and previous owner discounts, are there anything else? Any organizations (BMWCCA or others) that will get you better pricing? I'm going into this blind, as I've never owned a BMW before. My employer showers me with discounts from Nissan, GM, Ford and VW/Audi...

There's a BMWCCA discount if you've been with them for a year. No USSA discounts for the X1 though right now. The X1 really has no incentives, nothing for the "Happier New Year" promotion that runs until Jan 2nd either. Pretty much all other models though have discounts for the holiday season anywhere from 500-7500.

X1 says 750 for the Happier New Year in my region.

Awesome! Dealer has 13 on the lot and is "encouraging" me to take a i35 model. Really don't want/need the extra power (have enough problems avoiding tickets all ready), but apparently those aren't selling as well as the i28. Salesman wants me to try a 328 (has over 50) and thinks the discounts might make up the cost differential between it and the X1. Me thinks its too low to the ground for my back.
