Love the compassion of some here. Damage isn't going to change, yet no concern for the dog, just make sure your bling is preserved. Yikes.. Pain is pain- hope someone hits you and leaves the scene.

I ran over a turtle 2 days ago, took the top of his shell off. No damage to the car thank God.

Whenever I can I stop and remove a Turtle from the road. People will run over anything.
