Im back into the game!

Well some of you may of remembered me buying a truck and selling my e36 about a year ago. These cars just get so damn addicting. So I'm back with a 01 330ci in Sienna Red with sport package, 5sp. I've had the car for about 3 weeks. Drove 3 hours away to get ahold of her. Completely unmolested car owned by an older man with all service done at a BMW dealership.

Already started putting my touch on the car. Picked up some H&R race springs from a local, got 35% tint, Re-did the wood grain with red microsuede, black kidneys, Magnaflow 14815 muffler with 2nd res delete, and HID fogs.

I lied I did find a pic of the car with the H&Rs. The rears didn't settle yet. This was fresh outa the garage.

Thanks Ken! I know I looked at a few e36's but decided I'd try out an e46 since I already did an e36.

Hey, welcome back! I'm not a fan of the red interior trim, either, but that is an awesome exterior paint color. Looks like a great car! Any other plans for the near future, or are you just going to drive it as is for a little while? Time for a cooling system, trans fluid, and diff fluid refresh?

The red interior didn't look very good at first, but once it was all done it grew on me. For some reason in the pics the red shows up brighter than it actually is. Flash maybe? It is actually a somewhat darker red that matches the exterior pretty well.

The PO already had everything overhauled at the dealer within the last 10k miles. FCAB's, control arms, cooling system (they put a stewart water pump in it!!), new shocks/struts, and did tranny, and diff flush, oil change, and last but not least new brakes all the way around!

Oh theres already plenty of plans ahead! Orion V2's, smoked corners, and smoked bumper reflectors is the girlfriends contribution for christmas. I will be getting smoked tail lights (possibly LED's but still not sure how I like them), factory homelink, lower bumper inserts painted satin black with the headlight surrounds too, UUC SAC eliminating clutch and a ltw flywheel will be here before the end of the year. After that I will probably get a set of FK silverlines, and CSL 18in reps, but as we all know the list will never end.

My brother's E46 coupe is the same color. It grew on me.

He drives it like a grandma and still gets CHP attention!

Nice! I saw it on facebook the other day. I kinda dig the interior, minus the tan-ness.

I think it would look better if the shifter surround remained black and the horizontal line on the dash was a darker red. But anyway, it looks like a well cared for car.

BMW is doing a similar thing with the new F30s:

Eh, don't really like that armest/knob/offset thing they have going on there in the center console. Odd.

It's probably pretty nice from an ergonomic standpoint, though.

The shifter surround was wood grain to start with :/. The material is actually darker than the pics because the flash I think.

Have you guys been to khoalty.com yet for lighting? I got a set of led interior lights for the whole interior for 40 bucks. Pricing is the same as ddm but without the issues. Thought I'd post this site up because I was t sure if you guys have heard of it.
