I just realized my car doesn't have hoses coming from the ccv on either side of the motor. I don't believe it is supposed to be like that. Any input?

In that case you just have the caps( some came with hoses and some doesn't)

Non turbo cars will just have CCV vents. No hoses attached.

It has the nipples for the hoses but none there. That's why I wasn't sure

I might have to edit my original statement. The ones with nipples (connectors) are the old style. That was modified to the new style, that still has the vent but its just more integrated into the plastics so you dont notice it as much (nothing sticking out).

Has anyone changed their air pump hoses? The ones that go connected to the CCV valves and air pump? I was changing my CCV and broke one of the hoses. I called the dealer and they said it was 2 hoses. On mine it looks like it's just 1 that connects to the CCV valves and 1 to the air pump and 1 to the engine. Total 4 connections. Please help

Quote:
Early versions have a hose assembly that fits to each CCV valve on the top of the rocker covers and are joined together and connect to two ports on top and below of the throttle body on the inlet manifold. Later version use two individual insulated hoses If your referring to the secondary air pump, the hoses go to two metal valves at the rear of the cylinder heads, they are not called CCV's. im not sure if it's the secondary. I replaced the CCV and broke 1 of the brittle hoses. Now I need to replace. It looks like it's 1hose with 4 connections?
