65 vs 66

I agree the Li has got different suspension, it handles the roads bends much better when you change the EDC to sport something the E65 cannot do, the Li also has more independent vents. I've driven the E65 745i and now have the E66 760Li the handling on my E66 is much better and you can tell the difference and please WHO thinks a 5 series looks like a 7 come on please (should of gone to spec savers) the only similarity is the BMW badge on the bonnet

Well because a 5 series looks like a 7 they may of meant 5'

Yeah I have because I only just found it with all the other things I brought for my E65 at the time. The Bimmerfest guys would not pay the same price as eBay they would pay around 25% less I'm just clearing up.

I am not sure why they keep bringing up 5 inches in the backseat.. If it's my car I assure you I will not be ridin bitch!

Its pretty obvious from your pictures that your LI has the sports package. So of course it will ride better.

@BMW750 - "They" keep bringing it up because that's the biggest difference. But hey, if you never have friends or family in the car, good for you

Hows the 760 treating you? I test drove the 760li before I bought the 745li but my mrs didnt like the colour blue with beige interior also the 760li didnt have all the extras which the 745 has.

I really loved the power though

So which one do you think is the Li the blue or silver? My friends love it the V12 is untamed power and when I bring my mum to mines for the weekend she don't even notice I'm doing 120+mph whilst she's watching a DVD in the back (self leveling suspension works all the time). Four of us when to Spain comfortably in the E66 each seat independent adjustment, everyone could relax with LEG room, independent AC ventilation, cool fridge, all round blinds at the back now that's what an L stands for in Li (Luxury)

How comes the 760 never had the extras which the 745 had mine one is fully loaded with everything, sometimes it's easier to say what it don't have. But the 745 is a lovely car with the V8 engine and it does love to roar when you kick it. My one is still going great and love it to bits wouldn't change it for the world (YET). Hope you get a good 7 but try for a 750 if you don't find a nice 760.

Yeh made my mind up, my next will either be a 760li

The 760li which I say did not have the active vented seats lol plus I didnt like the beige interior

The silver one! I was just pointing out that either I or LI with a sports package will handle better than either an I or an LI w/o. But after looking closely at the picture, I see the LI doesn't have the black trim?? or does it? I look like it does.

No I've just put some sexy Lenso CQ4 alloys on it. But like on most Li (I hope) you can change the EDC suspension from comfort to sport and also have the steptronic transmission. The one thing I do miss which I had on my E65 is the vented seats which cooled you down during the hot summer months.

Yea I have a fair amount of options on mine. I also have the vented seats (don't really like them though)

But they are great in the summer and I've never seen them on a Li yet only on the I, even my sisters Lexus 200is has got vented seats..... Maybe I should attack my car seats with a pin

I forgot what package they are included with. Like an idiot I threw out my original purchased options list. I also have the "massage" seats, which is really just the seat pushing ur butt cheeks lol I was hoping the headrest arms would come out and start pushing my shoulders too

Yea I've got those all round also, the trick is of you are driving on a long journey just imagine they are massaging your back it kind of works or fill them up and then let them down every so often.

Hey someone else has to have the integrated cool box (which I call my fridge) in there car handy for keeping the beers cool and food also, plus the second iDrive to control the screen at the back. The extra 5" is needed when you have all the accessories with the BMW foot rests.

When I was shopping for my used 760Li, every single one I found had heated and vented front and rear seats. I looked at a few 750s but never found a single one with vented rear seats.
