Congrats dude!

I thought I was only working until 11 or so because they are having an off-site event for people working on this program today. Except I got a ton of stuff dumped on me and now I'm spending the rest of the day working anyway.

If I don't get converted to salary with a pretty decent raise after the holidays I think I might actually explode.

Also, its funny how when they do those events for people "blow off steam" the hardest working people that need to blow off steam the most don't have time to take advantage of it.

That's great news! Now you'll start out from a great mood when we all get frustrated over your engine swap BTW, text me an address so I can plot my route.

So true. And it was a nice promotion But accompanied by a dinky raise. Didn't want to look ungrateful but it wasn't really what I would have hoped for. At least it's a good step.

Damn car failed smog again!!!
But not as bad as the first time. I bought some used cats, did an oil change and changed anti freeze since the first test.
I'm changing my spark plugs and all the vacuum lines that look bad and vacuum control valve(electric) to see if I'll pass for the third test.

And my gas cap failed this time... Weird.

1st test

2nd test

Soooo, I got an email back from one of those security companies I applied to, and I'm about 99.7% sure this is spam?

The link to their application brings up a server error, and the fact that it needs a code is pretty lame as well..

Good rule of thumb: if the "HR Manager"is using a hotmail account, anything you send will be put in a spreadsheet and sold to the highest bidder.

And to the rule of thumb: no hr manager would put text art in their signature. And if they do you don't want to work for them.

Woot! We both have a reason to celebrate this Friday!

The bid selection for a massive, nearly $1B transportation project was announced today. The partnership that includes my company was the low bidder. That makes the 60 hr weeks this summer worth it!

Does anyone have an extra set of Amber front turn signals they want to get rid of? Or two? Maybe three?

My buddy that races the '99 M3 track car has run out of his reserves I guess.

Congrats!

I remember when promotion's used to come with huge raises! I also remember before that when I was excited about another $0.50/hr raise... Ohh fast things change.
Now I'm happy if I see 4%in a promotion raise.
So this should help with the house budget right? or BMW budget at least....

Get that E38 yet?

err... I do actually. Though I'm toying with the idea of going back to them. Can't decried if I like the clears or not.

If I ever make a choice, cover shipping they are his.
