yet another tire thread...
...and yes I did search
![]() I'm considering putting some 16" wheels and tires on my wife's 2007 328xi wagon to soften up the ride. It has sport package w/ 225 45 17 RFT square set up currently. It eats tires like they are oreos, and of course it will rattle your kidneys on a rough road. I've rotated, and done alignment to fight tire wear, but It seem like I'm always buying two tires every 6 months. I want to stay with RFTs for safety/mobility since it's her car Any suggestions on a decent 16" all season RTFs? Big performance is not an issue. Thank You! |

Going through tires every 6 months makes no sense at all. Something is wrong, unless someone has a very heavy foot on the gas pedal? Last edited by beden1; 11-15-2012 at 09:26 PM. |

If you want it to ride better get rid of the run flats. i just put my winter 17 inch run flats on and compared to the 18 inch PSll summer non-run flats the car rides like crap.
