Mein Auto: Alpina B7
My BMW Website

I recently purchased a 2013 Alpina B7 for myself and a 2013 X1 for my daughter. Both automobiles are well liked by their owners. About a month ago I tried to set up an account on the "My BMW" website. After going through the entire process I attempted to log-in for the first time and was locked out. Since that time over the past thirty days I have tried numerous times to reset my password assuming that was the problem. I have now had six phone calls, received 54 emails with resetting instructions and still am locked out. I have tried setting up three different accounts using different passwords and different browsers including the iPhone app. When I call in they tell me they will start a ticket with their IT department. When they do that I usually recieve from 7 to 9 emails with different instructions. When I ask to speak to that "IT expert" I am told they do not interface with customers.

Although I love the Alpina, I never would have purchased it if I knew how poorly they handle (or can't handle) IT issues. Has anyone else had this problem?

Exactly what kind of "account" are you trying to establish ? General User account, Commercial (Sponsor) account, or ????

The fact that your thread is showing up here means that the system has accepted your User ID....what more do you expect ?

I did a prepaid lease so I was attempting to connect to the customer "My BMW Website". I think it is run by robots that can't think or talk.

Angry Update on My BMW Web log-in

Today I received email #55 and #56 with instructions that my password had been reset and now I can log-in. Guess what --- I am still unable to log-in. I replyed to both email #55 and #56 that the My BMW website still does not allow me to log in. Does anyone what to take bets as to how long it will take for someone with a brain to read my email replies.

Ha --- a new day --- received log-in instructions 57. I don't think I will bother trying to log-in. It makes me so frustrated I would like to give my 2013 Aplina away. No --- on that bad.
