No audible chirp

My audible chirp at lock and unlock stopped working today after my son was playing with my key fob. Is there a combination of buttons to press to turn it back on? 2008 750li

Double tap unlock Or triple tap. It should toggle the chirp back on

I tried double tapping and triple tapping the fob with no luck. If anyone has an answer to this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

try double or tripple tapping lock . I know this works for a fact
as long as you had it activated before ,
I just don't remember if you do it while locking or unlocking .

Maybe your hood isn't fully closed? If not completely closed, the hood will prevent the alarm from chirping.

Correct but he should have gotten a message on Idrive. No audible chirp means smth is not closed or door sensor is bad. The car isn't getting a signal that everything is closed. Inpa would help.

But in the OP's scenario it stopped working after his son was playing with the FOB.
