SOS green light keeps popping up
On the inside of the cabin, there is an SOS button on the roof. The green light next to it keeps turning ON and OFF every few minutes while I was driving.
I did not touch it. Any idea what's going on?

Electrical problem. You should visit a dealer or, at least read codes. |

I think I'm getting closer to catching who the culprit is ...
In the last few days, I noticed that my iPhone4S battery kept running out of juice in less than 3 hours after I walk out of my house. Then, I noticed that when I am driving, the phone would get into an infinite loop doing these:
It'll do this until I get out of the car. By that time, the battery would be almost zero. Any idea if the iPhone4S Bluetooth interface is faulty or is the iDrive Bluetooth is flakey? Have you guys seen this before?

I have a non - iDrive equipped car, and a iPhone 4s. I have never experienced any issues with the blue tooth. What happens when you don't pair it? does the significant other have a blue tooth enabled phone that you can try? If it does the same thing with multiple devices, you have an issue with the car.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just tried with another iPhone4 and iPhone4S and both worked beautifully without any issues after the ContactList was transferred, it stayed connected and no re-transfer was done.
So, ... the culprit is probably my phone. Thanks, again.

Did you try deleting your phone from your car then repairing it?

Well, I solved my problem!!!
Here's how I did it:
When I went to the car and the bluetooth connected, it transferred the Contact List in less than 30 secs and stayed connected over bleutooth. The connection was stable and there were no additional transfers of the Contact List. Phone Battery is fine now and the phone does not feel hot to touch. And, the green light on the SOS button on the roof did not light up anymore. Interesting ...
