On my 1992 525i I wanted to get a 3 spike wheel and I know a guy selling a 3 spoke e30 wheel would it fit?

Nothing cosmetic from a 3 series vehicle shall see the light of day in a 5 series and vice versa. Its just Not Done.

Can you post a link to which one it is? I don't think an E30 wheel will. Maybe, but I'm not sure. I have an E36 wheel

Don't trade until we know of it'll fit, unless you just want it anyway. Can you also take a pic of your current wheel?

this is what my steering wheel looks like now and I dont really care about that headunit cause I have no use for it so if It dont fit ill just have a steering wheel

If it's truly an e30 m3 wheel get it anyway. If it doesn't fit sell it to someone with e30 for a good price...

Nah. Costa has the same wheel as me. Euro E36 M3...

Earlier E34s don't fit on later E34s. My e28 and E34 aren't interchangeable. I don't think an e30 would fit.

Sorry, not the right Andy but I am almost 100% sure it will not fit. I believe it would fit a 89 and 1990 e34 but not the 92.

Can point me in the direction on taking my steering wheel off i downloaded the bently but it didn't go to the page that talked about the air bag

Take the Battery off. Leave it for a half hour. The take the black plastic column cover off. Unplug the wire clip you'll find there, I think it's orange (I'm colorblind)
Then take a T27(?, but pretty sure) torx driver and there's two torx screws at the 10 and 2 of the wheel. Airbag will come off. Unscrew center nut and pull up and off.

havent read the above posts, but E30 wheels fit early E34 (i have an E30 M3 Tech2 wheel on my E34 Touring). Later E34 use the same spline as the E36 which is fatter than the E30 one. Infact E30, Early E34 and EVERY thing before that including the 2002tii turbo and Isetta all use the same spline and are cross compatible

Sorry not true the e28 had 2 diiferent splines from 82-85 they had a courser spline then they got the finer spline that was the same as the early e34. I believe the same goes for the e24 83 and after since it was based off the e28.
