what does the wheel have to do with riding smooth?
it is tire thickness and suspension not wheel design.
you guys running some huge rims on those cars.
I have 19" on x3 seen 21" on the x3.
a 30 and 25 profile would affect the ride. smallest I been and would go on a tire is a 40. I even think 35 looks gay if stretched why not just ride on the rim?I dont own your model bmw just ease dropping in on subject .my e36 had 45 and my e30 m3 has a 40 profile.The new 19" I just got for my x3 had 35 profile It was barely a tire to me he had them on his e46 m3 .I put a 245/45/19 on that AC Schnitzer type IV.
If you ca put BBS or my favorite AC Schnitzer I do that!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally, I like the Vossen CV-1's and CV-3's better than the Beyerns. Just look at TXSTYLE's car and you'll see what I mean

And 22's are great for LOOKS. You will notice a slightly harsher ride along with the constant hassle of avoiding even the smallest of road hazards. I think the best thing you could do for your purposes (good looks, handling, and reliability) is getting the stock 20's.

If you throw in a military discount, then we can talk business! Vossen rims are kinda too rich for my blood right now with me in talks with BMW to get my wife a new 3 series. Times are hard you know!
