Let's hear from the high mileage E60 turbo owners

How many miles and what repairs have been made along the way?

I'm at 81K. Is that high mileage? Only engine related repairs have been HPFP and coil pack #5.

I'm at 91k. Had to replace the solenoid valve / parts of the twin turbo. I don't have the list in front of me. What ever it was, was covered under my warranty ($3,900)

Yes. Given that 2008 was first year for turbo, I would think anything over 70-75K would be high mileage. I should have been more specific.

Wow those high mileage guys are lucky!!! I am at 57.5 K and since 50 K miles I have had to replace a low pressure fuel sensor, a DTML pump, a seal in the engine (forgot which one), a fuel rail, 6 fuel injectors, washer fluid pump, one parking sensor, two fuel lines a and a water pump.

01/2008 build date, 88,332 miles, my out of pocket expenses have been

Dealer - (failed while out of town used local dealer)
$2,230.26
6 new injectors
1 set of sparkplugs
2 O2 sensors

1 thermostat - Indy $345.33

Vacuum hose Dealer $297.10

1 seal on the oil filter housing + full oil change $652.32

1 set of brakes $800ish - R1 cross drilled, Hawk HPS new sensors, did work myself

this weekend replacing water pump as its going out. Close to $600 when I am done.

Should have bought the extended warranty for all of you wondering if you should do it.

I have been our of warranty for almost 18 months - 2 years.
