If it's released at the time a car hits port, why not? It's the exact same scenario, only difference is the time in which the 328 PE is released.

Shame on me for posting again in this ridiculous thread but wrt the two current F30-s the dominant constraint in normal driving for those with turns and curved roads is handling not acceleration. Which is why reported track times are so similar.

It seems like the turbo is running out of air towards the end of the powerband. Perfect candidate for cams and fuel compensation such as a piggyback tune. Turbo upgrade would also cure the flat curve of the HP powerband.

That can be explained due to little activity on the M boards, which requires us to scavenge off of the other boards like the F30.

Such as proper settings to enhance the driving modes- sport.

Then expectations with the F30 chassis. No it's not a mini and it's definitely not the same as the older E46 or E9x chassis.

We've also provided links to BMW M performance upgrades. These upgrades (brakes, suspension, engine, exhaust) do get you closer to the older chassis.

Err not sure you changed his mind but you probably made him more aware that the 328 can do more then he expected. What I seem to read was that he wants a 335 now and given what he wants out of a BMW, that's what he should have bought to begin with and this 46 page odyssey would never have been spawned.
