Map update is coming?
Over the weekend I learned there was a map update getting ready to come out. BMW parts said it was a recent bulletin and it should be available by January. They also said the format would be different where it would be offered on a thumb drive and that technically inclined owners could do the update themselves (or you pay the shop for 30 minutes of time to install it for you).
Was wondering if anyone else can confirm this and what changes might be coming? I assume the update still won't be cheap.
