Minus 12 Hour Compliance

So it's the middle of the night here in Munich... 12 hrs to delivery and cant seem to sleep, might be time zone changes, but more likely excitement

Finally, the wait is over and I can now get some sleep... in my car!

Back stateside, and still acclimating to non-autobahn speeds (so oppressive).

Still offloading photos from the camera (have tons), but pieced together a few to post.

BTW: Thanks to this board for all the help throughout. First BMW / First ED... Start (planning/purchase) to finish (return) was only 6 weeks. Would not have been as memorable without the help!

Thanks! That depends on your definition of a photographer.... purchased my first non-cellphone camera for the trip. Made an effort to capture some nice shots and mostly happy with the result.

The mountain top photos take your breath away. The photos with your car and the filtered light through the trees look like a BMW advertisement. Nice Job. Thanks for sharing!

Well worth the wait to see those gorgeous pictures. Looks like you took the trip of a lifetime. You hit all my favorite places - Trier is especially awesome in my book. Hope you sample the local wines. They are too sweet for most, but my family loves them almost as much as Bavarian beers.
